Rev. Dr. Chester “Chet” Droog has graciously allowed up to partner with him and have access to each of his wonderfully written prayers he has titled "Little Talks With God".  You can find his work in The Prayer Room and on the Little Talks With God page.

Dr. Droog has been a pastor and denominational executive in the Reformed Church in America for over 50 years. He served in several churches before becoming the Executive Minister of the Regional Synod of the Far West.  In this position of for twenty years, he gave general oversight to the churches from Western Canada to Southern California.  He also was responsible for selecting of sites, leadership and the arranging of finances for new congregations.

He is the author of a "Church Planning and Development Manual" and the book, "The History of the Classis of California 1920-1985".  In 1980 he received the "Church Growth Leadership Award" from the Institute of American Church Growth.

He received a B.A. degree from Hope College and his Masters of Divinity degree from Western Seminary in Holland, Michigan.  In 1976 he received his doctorate from the California Graduate School in Glendale, California.  

He came out of retirement in January 2005 to become the Pastor of Administration and Calling of El Dorado Park Community Church in Long Beach, California.  Dr. Droog is now enjoying his "fourth retirement" with his wife Jackie.  He is still active in his church and is currently writing and developing Little Talks With God.
